Sans Âme Contest & A New Facebook Group

Facebook has forced me to make a new group for the Parasol Protectorate. In order to encourage members and in honor of Sans Âme being nominated for the Prix des Imaginales (best translated novel category) I am running a contest.

Contest Starts: Now
Contest Ends: Midnight Thursday May 19
What you have to do: Join the new Facebook Group
(If you are already a member you are already entered.)

What you win: A signed copy of Sans Âme (Soulless in French) and your choice of either the American or the British editions of Soulless, Changeless, and Blameless. (UK eds are larger, almost trade size, but text is unchanged.)
Who’s Eligible: Anyone who joins the Group, worldwide.

I will pick someone from the group at random and contact that person over Facebook. The winner will also be announced on the Facebook group.

*If you are anti-Facebook there will be other contests, but this is the only one featuring the French edition. Sorry, my contest, my rules. Insert evil laugh here.

Your Infusion of Cute:

Your Tisane of Smart:
I like Game of Thrones, but every time the “Dragon” comes on screen this is what I see:

Fierce!
Your Writerly Tinctures:
Social Networking: What People Want

Timeless: Third draft done and in to editor!
Secret Project F: It is ALIVE! Half way through, yes!
Secret Project PPA: Only a twinkle in my little eye.

BIG FAT SPOILER ALERT! Really, DON’T READ THE BLURB ON AMAZON if you haven’t read the other books first!

Rena says of Soulless, “The writing style is very “Austenish” with lots of snappy repartee, irony and sarcasm.”

Quote of the Day:
“If the sex scene doesn’t make you want to do it – whatever it is they’re doing – it hasn’t been written right.”
