Hello my dear Gentle Reader, I have returned from the wilds of Mesa, Arizona and LepreCon 40.

Mesa was an odd sort of place where the weather listed for my final day was: Dust. I don’t know why but I found this hilarious.
However, the company was charming, if unvaried, and I poodled about meeting several long-standing chums and readers for whom it was a first time pleasure for some and a lovely reunion for others.
My favorite parts of the program were the panel on branding, the signing line, and of course, the tea party and informal chat.

Thanks so very much to all of you who made the effort to see me. I am so sorry if I missed you this visit. Hopefully, next time.
And now, back to work with me, I have an edit pass to finish and a deadline to make.

Quote of the Day:
“He was still trying to cope with the fact that the angelic, ponytailed heroine had unexpectedly transformed into a peculiar creature with pink hair-curlers dotted all over her head and an old-fashioned white nightdress which covered her in lace from neck to wrist to ankle. It gave the overall impression that she was a large, queenly piece of sharp-cornered furniture.”
