Those of you, Gentle Readers, who pay very close attention to my blog post footers have noticed a change since I returned from my latest writing retreat.
I thought, perhaps, you’d like additional insight on my upcoming Parasolverse indie projects…
What the footer says about Romancing The Werewolf:
- Romancing the Werewolf ~ A Supernatural Society Novella
Status: Copy edit pass.
Gay reunion romance featuring your favorite reluctant werewolf dandy, the return of a certain quietly efficient Beta, and some very unexpected gifts. Add this book on Goodreads.
What’s up with this one?
November release barring outright catastrophe. I have the photo for the cover already. Have my eye on a narrator, not sure if he’ll be willing.
Want to know more about the story?
Romancing the Werewolf tells the long awaited reunion of Biffy & Lyall and features Greenwich, wassail, and a very strange series of seasonal offerings.
What the footer says about How to Marry a Werewolf:
- How to Marry a Werewolf (in 10 Easy Steps) ~ A Claw & Courtship Novella
Status: Rough draft complete. Layaway.
Featuring a certain white wolf we all love to hate (except those of us weirdos who love to love him). Coming 2018.
What’s up with this one?
This story will be set chronologically after Competence, so I will probably release it after that book, sometime in 2018. (Although the two are not tied together.) For this novella I turned my hand to a classic regency (style) romance meets The Buccaneers.

Sneak peek opening lines…
When a young American lady of good standing is indiscreet, kind parents retire her quietly to the country with a maiden aunt and a modest stipend. Faith’s parents decided to marry her off to a werewolf.
OUT THIS MONTH!
The Sumage Solution: San Andreas Shifters #1 by G. L. Carriger
Contemporary m/m paranormal romance featuring a snarky mage and a gruff werewolf. Hella raunchy. Super dirty. Very very fun. Spin off of Marine Biology.

That blurb about Channing Channing of the Chesterfield Channings has me shook. I can’t wait to read it. I know this is all I’m going to be thinking about from now until it is published.
Excellent!
I’m pretty pleased with that one. Can’t wait to bring it out into the world next year.
My Dearest Miss Gail,
I am waiting with baited breathe for the summage solution, and I am VERY grateful that it is not being released any later – as I have booked an academic writing retreat (intend to finish 2 papers to the pull it apart and start again stage) from the 20th to the 24th. I intend to finish this PRIOR to leaving, however I may have my four legged companion confiscate and guard my iPad if I have not.
Best wishes
Well I am hoping it is a nice fast read!
I’m sure it will be,
I hoped it lived up to expectations.
I am so excited for all of these!
I hope the opening lines of “How to Marry a Werewolf” say indiscreet rather than indiscrete, though. 😉
