Ooh. I read The Gate to Women's Country when I was young and it has stayed with me all my life. The Dark is Rising series also. I worry that my kids will miss out on the Arthurian legends, should I make them read the Sword in the Stone and Susan Cooper?
I never got into sword and the stone. I'm trying to remember which Arthurian I did love. Probably Monty Python's Holy Grail. Heh.
