What’s Chirruping? Timeless Giveaway

Posted by Gail Carriger

The Chirrup is about to go out and this month members will get gossip, an update on the third Custard Protocol book, why I’m lamenting proofs, some recommended books on sale, and a chance to enter and win one of 10 copies of Timeless (the out of print mass market paperback version).

Join the Chirrup if you dare.* I promise I keep everything fun and light, only once a month, no spam and I never share your email with anyone.

Praise for Timeless

  • Britt Kris of For the Love of the Read says: “It made a great addition to the series, and I’m sad that it’s the end!”
  • Cassandra Giovanni says: “…that’s truly the magic of these novels, though there are many characters, you feel the depth in each one. I cannot wait to see what adventures Prudence finds herself on in the spin off series.”
  • Evaine’s Books, Books & More Books says: “It’s over??? The series is over?!? *weeps* But oh, it went out with a huge bang! The Parasol Protectorate series just kept getting better and better with each book and in this final installment, everyone was back, which made me so happy.”
  • Holed Up in a Book says: “The plot is also highly entertaining. I found the whole mystery of the God-Breaking Plague to be intriguing…”

Problems Getting Gail’s Newsletter?

* If you’re struggling to get The Chirrup, ESPECIALLY if you have spam filters set high or Gmail with tabs, your email service could be helpfully filing it away from your inbox. The “promotions” tab or the “spam” folder are two very common locations for newsletters. I’m afraid all I can do is confirm if you are signed up, not why you aren’t seeing The Chirrup in your inbox. You can check for yourself by just putting your email in, as if you wanted to subscribe again.

Giveaway Goodie Box

Posted by Gail Carriger

First up, Gentle Reader, I have a Facebook Live next Tuesday, March 14, at 4:30pm PST on my Author Page for no good reason, just to say hi. Feel free to come by and hang out of ask questions. If you can’t make it, I’ll post it to my YouTube channel, Amazon Author Central, and Goodreads videos within a few days.

An now…

A Madame Lefoux Goodie Box!

Recently, Gentle Reader, I ran this poll on Twitter:

Why did I do it on Twitter? Instant gratification. And anyone can participate. (Facebook only lets admins see the first 100 answers, then requires us to pay to see the results. Because… Facebook.)

Anyhoo, the people have spoken!

So March’s Chirrup giveaway is, indeed a Goodie box. In honor of the Romancing the Inventor Audiobook release, this box is Madame Lefoux themed.

Here’s a peek inside…

Contents:

How to enter:

You must be subscribed to my monthly newsletter, the Chirrup, before Saturday for this particular prize. If you are already subscribed then you can enter via the Chirrup, after you receive it. In the newsletter, there will be a link to a form and a code word to enter.  If you want to sign up for the Chirrup you can do so here.

Why sign up?

This is how I run most of my giveaways these days.

Newsletters come once a month with insight into my books and further plans (before being announced anywhere else). Occasionally there is a special Chirrup when I have a release. In case you wondered, I also pick my mods, beta readers, and early reviewers exclusively off of the newsletter. So it really is a good idea to get it and read it, if what you want from me is more books, sooner, and if you want influence over what I write next this is it.

This particular give away is open to everyone, everywhere, so long as you subscribe to the Chirrup before it goes out Saturday. Winner will be random number generated from entries.

Good luck!

Soulless LTD Edition Is Sold Out, Will There Be More?

Posted by Gail Carriger

Well, Gentle Reader, you were warned. When we do a limited run, it is LIMITED. The beautiful hardcover fancy edition of Soulless is now officially sold out. Thanks to everyone who purchased one!

Soulless LTD Edition

Will there be more in the series?

I’d be open to it, but my publisher, Orbit, has the rights to hardcover releases. They might not be willing to license an edition of Changeless. Also, I don’t know how well Soulless LTD sold for Subterranean, so they might not want to do the next in the series. It’s a balancing act.

Sign up for the Chirrup newsletter and I will tell you the moment I know more. Also, I myself managed to hoard quite a few of these beauties and if I decide to give them away, I’ll be doing it over Chirrup. So yeah, if you want one, that’s likely one of the few ways you can now get one.
