Gail Carriger’s Rather Frivolous New Year’s Resolutions (Behind the Magic)

  • Drink less hard alcohol ~ substitute champagne.
  • Wear more luxurious fabrics: leather, fur, velvet, silk, satin.
  • Take more bubble baths.
  • Try one food a month that I have never eaten before.
  • Spend more time with cats, ferrets, and (if possible) hedgehogs.
  • Make experimental trifle.
  • Scrapbook my 2010 memoriam
  • Read more than six books (for fun rather than research or obligation)
  • Write first, blog second
