Nimrod Conference for Readers & Writers 2012 (Tulsa, OK) October 26-27. $50 includes workshops, panel discussions, readings, lunch, tea, and one-on-one editing sessions.
Gail’s Schedule as follows:
Panel 10:00-10:40 am Major Arcana: Where Is the Risk and Where the Skill? with Mira Bartók, Linda Hillringhouse, Judith E. Johnson, Katie Kingston, Philip Levine, Francine Ringold, Chelsea Wagenaar.
Masterclass 1:35-2:50 pm Queen of Airships, Ace of Goggles: Gothic Tropes in Steampunk (Not my title.) Discover how archetypes from Gothic literature are still alive in genre fiction today, particularly steampunk.
Invitational Reading 3:00-4:00 pm I’ll read from my upcoming YA.
Feel free to pigeon hole me after any of these sessions if you’d like a book signed, there are no scheduled signing times.
NCTE (Las Vegas, NV) Nov. 17. Panel on November 17 from 9:30 – 10:45 AM with Libba Bray, Fantastical Histories: Shedding Light on Literary Tropes Through Fantasy and Alternative History. After Gail will be signing in the Little Brown booth 11:00 AM – Noon Booth #405 Gail will not be there Nov 18.
