5 Exciting New Website Bits & Bobs

So I launched my new website on Thursday night and it went strangely well, my end at least. The new website may look similar to the old, but it is expanded and expandable. We now have drop down menus for the different book series as well as lots of extra features and links to blog posts and interviews. Hopefully, the new design will also allow me to keep the whole thing up to date as well with latest news and events. Fingers crossed, I won’t have to go through another major redesign for a while.

Anyway, here are the five things I am most excited about:

  1. The site now ghosts my author blog and my fashion blog on blogspot (no more LJ!).
  2. The steampunk section is considerably expanded. I’m hoping to go in and clean it up and add new resources as well, as they come along. If you have any good suggestions for links, do let me know.
  3. There is a solid FAQ page now, separated from the Never Ending Interview, which has been combed through and brought up to date.
  4. The section for my books and all the different series has been updated and organized.
  5. I have an events and latest news section that is really easy to keep current.

Have I mentioned recently how much I love organization?

Still on the agenda, but delayed slightly, is getting together the resources for a newsletter. I know some have asked. Also, the Twitter feed is proving difficult and there are a few other bugs to iron out, but right now I’m basking in the glow of a pretty tidy site.

Thoughts and suggestions are most welcome.

Thank you for moving your short stories off the front page!

…I didn't mean it like that.

Whenever I'd see the cover of 'Marine Biology,' my eyes would see the shape of the walrus and I'd think 'DALEK!'

    Every time.
