This last Saturday I was at the San Leandro Library for an afternoon event and then Kepler’s Books in Menlo Park with the wonderful Suzanne Lazear for an evening event. There was a modest turn out at each, perhaps around 20 people or so. I had a fun time regalling all with silly stories and talking about secret projects, the book industry, steampunk, cover art, and everything in between.

If you are intrigued by my crazy pink and black outfit, I have a whole blog post on the subject over on Retro Rack.
I hope everyone has a great time at New York Comic Con (without me, sadness). It seems to have been a busy weekend for all out there in literary land.
I’m sorry to not have a more exciting blog post for you today. I’ve been recovering from some minor surgery recently and the events on Saturday rather tapped my reserves.
Now I must begin to prep myself for . . . book launch! Come on Seattle, let’s see if you can give California a run for its money.
