Gentle Reader, my spies have reported in and here’s a look at the ComicCon booth display! I’m not there but my books are!
I hope those of you down in San Diego are having a grand old time, or at least weathering the invasion with aplomb.
What else is Gail up to?
I’ve been scrabbling to catch up on a lot of extra work. Things that got ignored in order to finish the last book and then pushed aside while I was in France. A backlog of busy work, that includes but is not limited to the following:
- Website tinkering: Yes still, it may be live but I want it perfect! Perfect I say!
- Itinerary planning: So far as events go, I’ve gotten my programming schedule for both OsFest and WorldCon. I’ll be posting the Osfest one next week before I fly, so you know where to find me if you’re going to be in Omaha.
- Fiction: In the writing arena I’m fussing with a secret project, to launch in a few months. It’s fun, and not in the Parasol Protectorate universe. Nice to have a universe break. I’m on a close focused editing pass, and boy does that hurt my brain. But I have to get it done before the Waistcoat & Weaponry edit pass comes back.
