But the series, the series is getting a new name! For the past year or so I have been referring to it (both here on the blog and in person) as The Parasol Protectorate Abroad.
However, we felt that it was too close to Parasol Protectorate and didn’t want to delude readers into thinking they were getting more Alexia. The last thing I want is for my readers to feel duped or betrayed in any way. So we’ve changed the name of the series to…
The Custard Protocol Series
You see the name of Prudence’s airship is the Spotted Custard, and this way whenever she and her team are sent in to save the day, the British government has to say:
Activate the Custard Protocol!

And no, I’m not going to tell you Prudence’s name. Not yet.
