Miss Gail Is Away On Writing Retreat

My darling Gentle Reader,

I am currently away from home in a super secret location (floating in a dirigible high above the clouds, of course) typing away on a two week writing retreat. I’m not entirely sure yet what I will be working on, but I promise to coo all about it in the Chirrup when I get home.

I was so excited about this trip (two whole weeks!) that I invested in a new “computer & related equipment” transport bag. After investigating all options I went with this puppy: Kenneth Cole Reaction Casual Fling Computer Overnighter

I’m cautiously optimistic about it. It’s been years since I owned a rolling briefcase (my last one was during my first master’s degree). My needs when traveling with a full writer station aren’t quite the same as those of your bog standard academic (ah, past lives). I include things like a remote mouse & keyboard, my beloved roost laptop stand (so everything is ergonomic), notebooks, dictation mic, and so on. Only one way to truly test it…

I will be back before you notice. I promise, I’ve left fun goodies to drop in my social media feeds while I’m away, so hopefully you won’t feel abandoned or bereft. Well, except here in the blog which is hardest to arrange when I’m without reliable internet.

So while I’m gone, working hard to finish more stories for next year, here’s what I’ve done so far…

And here’s this for you to amuse yourselves with, feel free to share and enjoy.

And here’s because I love you:

Oh my goodness thank you for showing me this! I knew they were due to come out and I have had limited contact with my translator, but I knew nothing more. That is so cool!

I am glad I could show them to you.

Also, I would like to say that I enjoy Preshea’s story very much. And I sincerely hope you will continue the series for all the girls. I would love to hear how Agatha turn out to be as an adult.

I really do hope to. I hope to be writing the next Delightfully Deadly story soon. Perhaps for next year. I’m not sure on timing but fingers crossed.
